Show 136 - this Tuesday Feb. 6, 2024 at 7 pm

Hi! Please tune in to Show 136 this Tuesday (tomorrow) February 6, 2024 at 7 pm.

This is a nice mid-tempo playlist, ideal for enjoying unseasonably warm weather (but not inspired by that).

It's also a "Ladies Night" mix. It accidentally ended up that way, but that accident happens easily with this show. Call OSHA I guess, haha.

🚨🚨 EDIT: F********ckkk ...I accidentally reused the Maggie Ryder cover on my original version of this album spread. It was originally used on Show 122. Haha, my bad! And to think - I almost changed it at the last minute but decided not to.

Well that's not going to fly. Correction made! 🚨🚨.

Show 135 - this Tuesday Jan. 30, 2024 at 7 pm

Hi! Please tune in to Show 135 this Tuesday January 30, 2024 at 7 pm.

Since I aired a rerun on January 2 (the first Tuesday), I promised to air a new episode on this fifth Tuesday instead of the usual rerun. Here is that new episode - another 80s mix!

I'm really pleased with how this turned out. I'd explain more, but my head is a bit scrambled right now. I bought a shoe rack earlier this evening and rearranged some stuff to fit it in. Then I started "celebrating" and minutes later remembered I needed to publish this post.

So I'll continue "celebrating". 😎

RERUN: Show 131 - this Tuesday Jan 2, 2023 at 7 pm

Happy New Year!

I'm airing a rerun tomorrow because had a busy holiday (fun busy, not bad busy) and ran short on time. I was off all week and partied this past weekend, and tonight's the last night before I return to work so I don't feel like putting the show together right now.

Since this month has five Tuesdays, I'll play new episodes on the third and fifth Tuesdays (instead of the usual Fifth Tuesday Rerun).

So please tune in tomorrow for a rerun of Show 131.

Now excuse me while I go zone out and enjoy the final hours of this week-long break. 😎

Show 133 - this Tuesday Dec. 19, 2023 at 7 pm

Hi! Please tune in to Show 133 this Tuesday December 19, 2023 at 7 pm.

Apologies again for the absence and rerun. Who knew traveling was so disruptive? 😄

This new episode slows it down a bit from Shows 132 and 131, and I nicknamed it the "Celestial" mix. It features nuanced mid-70s to early-80s productions with some nice synth and keyboard textures sprinkled throughout.

And of course, I'm a sucker for well-conceived dual album art.

RERUN: Show 132 - this Tuesday Dec. 5, 2023 at 7 pm

Hi! I'll be airing a rerun of Show 132 tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7 pm.

The reason for the rerun and my absence two weeks ago was I spent ten days in Scotland for my 20th wedding anniversary. We were actually in Scotland on the last scheduled air date, hence no show nor rerun. I didn't say anything earlier because I don't like to publicly announce that my house will be vacant for ten days, lol.

I got back last Sunday and I'm still reestablishing my routine. The trip threw off my listening and show prep routines, so while I get back on track I'm airing a rerun of the show from a month ago. I really like how that one turned out anyway, so why not?

Show 132 - this Tuesday Nov. 7, 2023 at 7 pm

Hi! Please tune in to Show 132 this Tuesday (tomorrow) November 7, 2023 at 7 pm.

This one is pretty bumpin' and relentless, and it unfolds like a car driving off of a cliff.

The previous show had 10 first-time artists (out of 15 songs), whereas majority of the artists on this episode have been on the show before. So between the two episodes my internal proprietary ratio of first-time artists averages out ok. 😎
