Show 175: Year Nine Recap, airing this Tuesday August 4.
As in previous years, this is the chronological recap of the previous twelve months of Intro-Climax-Outro.
BACKGROUND:
Intro-Climax-Outro started when KUZU started, in August 2017. This recap occurs on each anniversary, on the first Tuesday of August.
In this recap, I select one "favorite" song per episode from the 'fiscal' year that just ended. The selections are played chronologically in the order the episodes appeared.
Usually I have to skip some episodes in the recap due to time constraints, but that's not the case this year since I was somewhat busy this year and missed some episodes (sorry about that!).
NOTE: These year-end recaps are the only times songs are repeated within numbered Intro-Climax-Outro episodes.
THE CRITERIA:
Obviously, I like all the songs played on Intro-Climax-Outro, or I wouldn't play them. I pick "favorites" for the recap based on my feelings (duh), but also based on lesser, supporting factors like a song's obscurity.
THE RULE:
An artist can only appear on one year-end recap.
There are artists who appear regularly on Intro-Climax-Outro, but they can only appear once on a year-end recap.
