New Shows!! Summer Specials!!!

Howdy! As promised, I'm finished with that Tax class and back with some hot new episodes. That class took over my life, but now I have an A and the tunes keep comin'!

We've got some yin and some yang in this thang for July. This is as exciting as life gets here in the hotspot, so let's make the most of it!

• Show 67: Hot Shower
  Tuesday July 7, 2020 - 7 pm (19:00) CDT

It's as it sounds. Hard groove.
• Show 68: Bubble Bath
  Tuesday July 21, 2020 - 7 pm (19:00) CDT

Also as it sounds. Gentle groove (but still a groove). Also the last show of the Intro-Climax-Outro "fiscal year"....the season finale, etc.
• Show 69: THREE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY
  Tuesday August 4, 2020 - 7 pm (19:00) CDT

A recap of the last year! I'll pick one song max per episode (lol, I didn't realize it would be Show 69).

Always and only on:

Then next Tuesday I'll be back with an all-new episode as promised.

This crazy class has been as demanding as I expected, but it ends in two days! 😎

June Reruns, July Specials (i.e. Adventures in Accelerated Learning)

This June I'll play two reruns, then July I'll be back to normal with two new specials.

June
I'm taking two upper-level accounting courses this summer. One of the courses (Federal Taxation I) is accelerated, meaning the three credit-hour course will happen all in June.

Since I don't repeat tracks outside of occasional reruns, I figured this would be a fun (and convenient) occasion for a rerun (or two).

The reason: I don't know when the class exams are scheduled, the class has been moved online (which is awesome)...basically a lot is up in the air. I want to use the extra time now to pre-study, and I don't want to find myself in a tight spot come June.

Plus I'm taking the other upper-level (albeit slower) accounting course concurrently. Blah blah you get the idea...

Ok, not that bad! 😊

TL DR: semester-long taxation class crammed into one month = reruns for June.

July
I already have these two ready. I could've just played them in June, but they're July shows!

• July 7 - a party set to celebrate July 4th / my late b-day / finishing Taxation class.
• July 21 - a smooth 70s set to close out the Intro-Climax-Outro "fiscal" year.

August

• August 4 - THREE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Intro-Climax-Outro!

-------------------------------------------

I feel weird planning this far in advance (no implications of invincibility intended).

For now though, tune in two weeks from now on May 19 for Show 66! 😎 Everyone stay safe!

Show 65 - this Tues. May 5 at 7 pm (CST)

Hello! Tune in to Intro-Climax-Outro Show 65, this Tuesday May 5th at 7 pm!

This one is really yummy; if you like the colorful instrumentation and production of the late-60s/early-70s, then you're in luck.

Also: this episode features three versions of songs that appeared in prior episodes (with two from 2018). You know I avoid novelty/cash-in covers, but I really love inspired interpretations (especially when they might even be the original!).

This show marks the return of my good buddy Jeff Williams, and like last time we took turns playing songs. He chose great songs as always!

We recorded this on March 7 during the calm before the US Covid storm. It feels like forever ago now. The Daylight Savings time change happened while we recorded it, hence the show name.
