My birthday was this weekend, a friend is in town for a few days, and KUZU had its annual record convention on Saturday plus fesitivities. With all of that going on, I didn't get to finalize the episode I had in the works.

About the rerun: four years ago in 2021 my birthday fell on the 5th Tuesday of the month, so I put together a special birthday mix of some of my favorite tracks from prior episodes. Sorry for the delay on announcing it. I planned on airing the episode I recorded with my buddy Jeff, but when I started working on it a few days ago I realized it will require more editing than I anticipated. 

So then I decided to do the piano show instead. But then I worried it would seem like a mopey political statement occurring the day after inauguration (which it isn't). 

Without getting political, I can say that this show, this music, community radio, and art are leagues above the political and capitalistic wankery plaguing this planet at the moment. So why alter the itinerary? On with the piano ballads!
