 Hi! Please tune in to Show 111: 80s Waterbed Mix, this Tuesday October 18 at 7 pm CDT.

This show is a companion to Show 98: 80s Convertible Mix. It has two artists in common and is also a ladies' night mix, but this one is a bit mellower. There is generous usage of harmonized guitar licks and some yummy synth work. 

These are the kinds of tracks that you notice in your car, or when you're taking a dump in the mall bathroom of some alternate universe and you're like "this song is pretty good!"

Hopefully you'll get lost in the beauty of this playlist.

EDIT: One track is actually from 1990, but that's splitting hairs. It's just an 80s track that missed the deadline. 😉

Show 110: Rasta Imposta - this Tues. Oct. 3 at 7 pm

 Hi! Please tune in to a special, thematic Intro-Climax-Outro tomorrow titled Rasta Imposta.

This is a playlist of reggae/Jamaican-influenced songs I built gradually over the past several years. Most were randomly found while I was exploring new music. 

Since I wasn't specifically searching for reggae (I did most of my reggae discovery in the mid-2000s), most of these songs came as a surprise. I hope you think so too!

Note: since this is a themed show of stuff I found 'along the way', it's not going to meet my preferred ratio of new artists per show. So it goes sometimes!
