Holiday Rerun: "I Can't Believe It's Not Christmas, Vol. 41" (a.k.a. Show 33) - this Tuesday Dec. 22 at 7 pm CST

 Hi! Pardon the delay (again)...I just zone out over the weekends.

I had a new show in the works for tomorrow, but I decided last week that I'd like to replay "I Can't Believe It's Not Christmas, Vol. 41" instead, from Dec. 2018 (Show 33). 

This was the one with non-holiday songs that sound like holiday songs. I'm still pleased with the way it turned out, and when else in the year would I play it? Since I don't repeat songs outside of occasional reruns, that's even more reason.

Plus, Christmas (and Thanksgiving) don't inspire me much. I can barely be motivated to get my kid gifts (but I do!), let alone hunt down Christmas songs every year. 

Holiday songs are basically the McRib at this point. I'm pleased with my 2018 concept, though!

But New Year's Eve/Day? THAT'S my holiday, and this year's playlist is gonna be dope!

This one has light country feel, and many Canadian artists.

(Kind of like when album credits say "100% MAPL" referring to Canadian music, artist, performance, lyrics. Why did I just notice it spells maple? 😄)

This show is also the second to feature the front and back of an album in the artwork spread (the other was Ewa Śnieżanka, Show 71). The back was too good to pass up (huh huh, that's what they said)!
